- Lukewarm water
- Neutral detergent (dishwashing detergent): a few drops
- A tissue or towel

Soak the ring in a cup of lukewarm water and a few drops (3-4 drops) of neutral detergent.

After a few minutes of soaking, when the stain has blurred, scrub gently with a soft brush and rinse with fresh water when the stain is removed.

Finish by wiping off the water with a tissue or the like.
Be careful not to overlook uneven areas, such as engraved areas and fingernail areas, where dirt tends to accumulate.

- A brasive cloths (blue cloth)
- A polishing cloth (cream cloth)
- A tissue or towel

Spread the abrasive cloth and rub the ring with force.

Once the small scratches are gone, rinse with fresh water and blot dry with a tissue.

After wiping off the water, finish polishing the ring lightly with a polishing cloth.

Adjust the wearing comfort by "re-sizing".
Changes in body shape can change the thickness of the finger, making the ring tighter and more difficult to remove, or so oversized that it almost falls off. Resizing is the process of adjusting a ring to the correct size.
Most jewelry stores offer resizing services, but the process varies depending on the design of the ring and the width of the ring to be resized, so please consult with the jewelry store staff carefully.
Adjust the distortion of the ring by "deformation fix".
It is surprisingly common for materials such as platinum and gold to distort into an oval shape when the ring is subjected to load, such as when a heavy load is lifted or when it is accidentally stepped on. The nails holding diamonds and other stones can also become deformed or loose for the same reason.
